Well, buckle up, folks! Elon Musk’s playground—better known as X—has decided to start flexing its legal muscles against a startup by the name of Operation Bluebird, which is cheekily eyeing the abandoned Twitter trademark. Spoiler alert: the trademark isn’t quite as abandoned as you might think.

See, in their latest legal maneuver, X is basically saying, “Hey, we know our rebranding was a flop, and everyone still refers to our platform as Twitter, so technically we *didn’t* abandon it!” I can hear the corporate lawyers high-fiving over that one! What a plot twist—like finding out your childhood teddy bear actually had a second life as a gym towel.

It seems no matter how many times Musk rebrands, a vast portion of us still can’t help but call it Twitter. In the end, it raises the question—are we just stuck in a retro branding jam? One where nostalgia is as strong as our coffee?
