Hold onto your remotes, folks! Ring’s Always Home Cam is dusting off its wings and may finally soar again after being grounded for a while. Business Insider reports that the newly reinstated CEO, Jamie Siminoff, is playing around with his indoor flying camera in his office. Fingers crossed it doesn’t crash into the coffee machine—again!\n\nOriginally unveiled back in 2020, this ambitious gadget was poised to redefine home security but ended up taking an extended vacation instead. It was so close to launch we could almost hear its propellers whirring. I even saw it glide at CES 2023, and let me tell you, it’s as mesmerizing as watching a cat try to catch a laser dot.\n\nSo, what’s different this time? Well, Siminoff has that spark back and plans to roll out the camera in ‘limited quantities’ soon. Can we expect a grand announcement or just a whisper of a tweet? Either way, the anticipation is palpable. Will 2025 go down in history as the year that flying surveillance became the norm? Only time will tell!
