If you thought the world of action cameras was as stagnant as your friend who keeps talking about that one time they climbed a hill, think again! GoPro, the “Kung Fu Panda” of action cameras, might just be teasing a successor to its beloved Max camera.
Abe Kislevitz, GoPro’s senior creative director (also known as the wizard behind those jaw-dropping 360-degree pics), recently graced our feeds with some tantalizing shots. In a world where tech rumors fly faster than a drone at a family picnic, he hinted that the Max 2 could be on its way this year.
What could this mean for adventure enthusiasts, content creators, or that one Instagram model we all know? More enhanced features, possibly even mind-bending video capabilities, or maybe just a fresh coat of paint to distract us from our lack of skills.
And while we’re all waiting with bated breath (and maybe a hint of impatience), it begs the question—what do you want to see in the next iteration? More battery life? Improved stabilization? Or perhaps just a robust ‘do not disturb’ mode for when you’re enjoying nature without the constant buzz of notifications!
